We carved our pumpkins last night. Gabriel had a lot of fun taking the seeds and putting them in the bowl while Mom and Daddy cleaned out the pumpkins and carved them.
At the request of Daddy, the three of us went out for a few hours this afternoon so Daddy could study for his THREE tests this week. We went to Oxbow Park so Gabriel could see the animals. Claire just rode in her stroller and enjoyed the fresh air.
This deer came right up to us and Gabriel even touched his nose.
On the swing
This goat was looking for food but we didn't have any to give it.
The pony was one of our favorite animals. Gabriel fed it a couple of berries.
Gabriel really liked seeing this tractor drive past too.
This bear was having a snack when we saw him. He was chewing on an apple and rested it on his foot between bites.
Gabriel was trying to help Mommy by giving his sister a "ride".
We had some friends come over today to play. Lindsay brought Hazel who is 1 month younger than Claire. Cindy brought Asha and Elias. Asha is 6 months younger than Gabe and Elias is 3 weeks older than Claire. We hope that the kids will be friends in the future.
Asha was filling her mouth with the Puppy Chow we had. She got a little messy.
Here we all are with our babies. I knew we wouldn't get a picture with all of them being happy.
Gabriel got a Doodle Pro for his birthday and he has enjoyed drawing on it ever since. He is also working on learning his alphabet so he thinks he can write the letters he knows.
Claire and Daddy play a game where Daddy sticks out his tongue at her and Claire sticks out her tongue back. Sometimes she has so much fun with the game that she starts smiling and cooing.
The beginning of the game where she looks at Daddy like he's really silly.
Claire watches her mobile for long stretches of time. She even yells at it when it stops turning. These are some of the first pictures we got of her smiling, all thanks to the "dancing animals".
