Last day of summer

We celebrated the last day of summer by going mini golfing.  Claire had never been before so she developed her own technique.

After golfing, we came home to play some Guitar Hero.  Gabe really gets into rocker mode!

Kindergarten orientation and first day of school

Gabe had kindergarten orientation on Tuesday.  He woke up and immediately got dressed and wanted to leave for school.  Claire had to have her picture taken too since she walked with us to the school.

Today was his first real day of school.

On orientation day, Claire cried because she didn't get to give Gabe a goodbye hug and kiss.  We made sure she had a chance to do that today.

Birthdays

This was a summer full of birthday fun.  Claire turned 3 and Gabe turned 5.  Our camera died right before we cut the cake for Claire but we got a few pictures of the pre-cake festivities.

Claire's pretty hair for her baseball game birthday.  It came out shortly after this so she could wear her ball cap.

Grandma Connie came up a few weeks after the birthdays and helped celebrate with more gifts and fun.
